Sounds like a duh…but it’s not. At least not for me. I have killed a lot of plants in my time and maybe my plant killing days aren’t quite over for sure for sure. But for now I am celebrating that I can grow a plant.
Here's what I've learned it takes: Consistency. Which doesn’t always have an immediate pay out. But keep being consistent and one day you’ll be like boy doggie! This plant is growing! Watering. There are a few important considerations when it comes to watering. How much and how often are at the center of the stage. But even when I forgot to water the plant for an undisclosed amount of time. Once I remember and I water it. It comes back! Sunlight. As bright as I think I am, I am not the sun. Plants need sunlight. So my only part is placing the guy or girl (plant) where they can receive sunlight. And that’s it. I’m just a placer. Turning and rotating. Yep. As in life for us, we gotta turn and rotate for optimal growth. How often and how much…no science to it. Well maybe there is but naw, not for me. It happens when I remember or see the plant growing uneven. Time to turn and rotate. Apply those same principals to your life. You’re doing it. You’re winning! You may loose a few leaves here and there but baby - the plant is alive!!! Who hoo!...Focus on habits and not goals. Be consistent one day at a time. And remind yourself that you can you do "this" for one day...then that day turns into two and three and than weeks.....Ah, yes...I can grow a plant!! And so can YOU!
